Just bought this to add some fun to walks and road trips! Money well spent. The app has loads of useful tools once you get the hang of it.

Love this. I dont even need my old GPS anymore.
We are only 3 weeks in and addicted! Wonderful family fun that is also educational! And the new upgrades let you know if there are trackables much easier!!!
I never had the old app, but I have fallen in love with geocaching. I am 60 and can navigate through the app. Maybe it is just newbie enthusiasm, but I love it.
Im so disappointed. Can no longer cache with this app now have to pay to do things like access my profile
App sometimes crashes but good otherwise
Its an ok app. I like the previous paid app way better though. Things that I miss about the other app are the options for needs maintaining/archive and the ability to award favorite points. Its a pain to have to go online to the websites to award a favorite point. It would also be nice to be able to view souvenirs on the app as well. Ive been noticing lately that the app crashes more often than it should
The original app was so easy to use. This one has made geocaching impossible and its just not fun anymore.
Is there donating going on with this App tonight 4/26/16? App is having a hard time loading caches and the it crashes.
Going from great to failure, while leaving your fellow geocachers stranded. - New app takes away 70% of your local geocaches. If the geo is over 1.5 difficulty the geo is NOT accessible in the app, unless you upgrade, for a Recurring Fee. So, if the geo is hidden in the tree, its no longer visible in the app, why? Because the difficulty is above 1.5. - Horrible marketing. Taking a $10 app with a plentiful geocaches, to free “app download” with small limited Geos. Now with Recurring Charges! - Not Mobile Friendly. The market is evolving to a mobile based society. The App is still very limited with functions and still more pc based. I dont even use a pc anymore. Very limited functional app. Disappointing. - Greedy profiting practice. Geocachers like us spend plenty of money on making, tracking and fixing caches. 99% of caches are made by fellow geocachers like us, not them. And with our own money. Now they have to spend more of their own money just to find their own caches on your app. Does that make sense? - Epic Failure.
Fun app for a good adventure really loved going and trying to find the catches!
App works well but was expecting more. Guess they want money. Still Lots of fun for my boys and i
Why have a free app when you have to pay to upgrade it... This app has become a scam
Thats right. Geo cashing. Cashing in on the effort of real live geocaching people worldwide who have invested precious time from their lives to help develop a FREE scavenger hunt game to be enjoyed by ALL. Rich and Poor Alike!! Too bad they are Cashing in on our Caching. Im Cashing out. So will many more. Geocaching will have to go on without Capitalism.com. Oops I mean Geocaching.CON (not an oops). Sorry kids you can only participate if mommy and daddy have money. SOBs. Wake up!
Not what I expected, the profile viewing option needs work. Ability to copy paste gps easier would be nice. Only plus is the gps seems to like the app better than my reg gps... That is why it gets two not one
Change is always hard, and like most everyone else posting, I am having a hard time adjusting to this new app. I can see that it could be better than the last one eventually. It is taking a while to get used to but I do like some of the new features. I do agree that it might have been launched too fast and too early. Not even your support articles clearly reference this app. After searching everywhere for an answer on how to add a favorite point I ended up emailing to receive an answer that it is not part of the app yet. Your support section gives instructions for the old app. Frustrating.
$30 a year for a geocaching app is absurd. I was okay with the $10 one-time purchase but this is too much. This app is useless unless youre willing to shell out the dough.
I like the new app and use it interchangeably with the original app. I like the original map and feel but I like the way the new app pulls up more caches near me.
How is there no way to log a "needs maintenance" or "needs archived"? This really makes it impossible to tell if a cache is abandoned because people will log a DNF instead of a needs maintenance or archived. Other "unofficial" apps are way better than this and its really disappointing.
Great app! I love the news updates and excited to what comes next. While I understand why people are upset about some of the recent changes, $30/year is still the cheapest hobby Ill ever have! Thanks for the fun!
