We have been using this app for 4months and yes we had issues at one point but when we deleted and reinstalled havent had a problem since

This is a great activity for the whole family! We bring our two year old and our dog, go to parks and cache!!! Its a fun way to get out doors and have fun!

I love caching and will absolutely continue to do it around the world as I travel. I felt quite lucky that I could have the premium gifted to me. In China the app is off the markers show up in the wrong place. But here in the U.S. it works well for me.

My daughters and I used to enjoy geocaching. It was cheap and got us outdoors. This "improved" app limits the usefulness of the app unless you pay a rather large monthly fee. I guess greed ruined another good thing. Good job geocaching.com

So, Ive been a premium member for years on and off. The new app convinced me to renew my membership. The old app requires a lot of tinkering to load gpxs. This looked good because you could make and download lists to the app so that it would work where there is no cell service... NOT! I took our grandkids on their first cache in WY. I couldnt get the list I downloaded to show up. It kept "loading." Finally, we got a bit of service and it showed up. All 13 caches were readable so we started off. We found the 1st cache. While I was logging the paper in the cache, my phone went to sleep. When I opened it, the lists were gone and wouldnt reload. End of day, much to the disappointment on the grandkids. Do NOT depend on this if you are out of cell range. This app is not ready for prime time - lots of glitches and issues. Ive enjoyed geocaching for over 10 years, but had gotten out of it until my grandkids got ready to go. They love it, but we do forest and remote caches. Ill just have to find another solution. Three weeks ago I took another set of grandkids caching in a large park. Their parent signed up for an account, but because they didnt pay, only 1 of the 5 we found showed up for them. Shame!

So far Im liking this app. I would like to be able to edit comments/find/didnt find/needs maintenance/archive. As for a must have add some hide cache controls for the ones we own and enable us to upload a new cache from the app. If you add those I can see a 5 star because I wont need my slow PC anymore.

Ive been geocaching for about 4 years now and i remember when the app was actually pretty good it was more detailed and it showed more information in a user friendly way, but this new app is terrible you have to pay to have features and it barely shows anything i think they should re design it and make it more user friendly and have more detail and make it cost like 10 dollars a year 30 seems like a lot :/ just for 1 year it shouldnt even cost money but since it is it should be lowered a lot

This is a great activity to do with kids and the app makes it easy and fun!

My adult daughter turned me on to this; my wife and I are going to start doing it!

My wife already stopped geocaching about a year ago because it became so difficult with all the caches you couldnt see. I finally decided to buy the app about a month ago so we could get back into it. And now this? So I spent $10 so I could spend more? No. Thats not right.

Very good app I like it it tells you it where it is and I am 100% Satisfied

Just getting started geocaching, its been a lot of fun and the app is working great!

Crashes constantly, maps are slow to load, cant see souvenirs and would like to be able to check on my owned bugs without having to log into the web. Like open the map and another colored dot wherever in the world my own trackables are. Too confusing, cluttered, not worth the money, especially since each member of the family needs their own membership if they want to log the same ones on their personal accounts. :(

I bought this geocaching app before the most recent update and had enjoyed using it, but since the last update I find it completely useless. I think that it is ridiculous that I paid for something that now has less features than I originally paid for, and that I would have to pay even more money to get those same features back. Some of us cant afford to have monthly fees associated with an activity that is, overall, a free hobby, and I think it was deceptive to make all of these changes. Since Ive already paid the $9.99 for the app, along with many other people, I think it would have been nice for us to receive a free three month premium membership so we could at least get what we already paid for. I know on the website the FAQ for the app says that refunds can be distributed within thirty days after purchase by Apple but that doesnt address all of the people who have been using this app prior to its demotion, so issuing some sort of free 3 month period premium membership would be a nice gesture to everyone who invested money into this app that is essentially worthless for many of us. I will still continue to geocache but this makes it a lot harder for me now and I would think that you would want to keep people interested in geocaching rather than pushing them away.

I want the old AP back!

Ouch, $30 subscription required for an app I use only occasionally. Im done with this app.

Wish you didnt have to look so suspicious when you geocache tho...

We like the app but are very frustrated with the monthly upgrade fee.
